Here are two of my favorite lenders for you to be able to compare with your lender and make sure the financing works for you. Remember, there is a lot more to a mortgage than just the rate! When comparing, look at the APR at which you are being charged. The APR is the total cost of your loan including the interest rate, lender fees, and lender points. So, one lender may have a lower interest rate and a higher APR than the next lender. This would indicate higher points and fees from that lender. At that point, how long would it take you to break even by paying more in fees to get a lower interest rate?
